Beamon Law

Beamon Law Beamon Law is accepting clients at 504 Millard Fuller Blvd. Americus, Ga. We would love to hear from you! The home was originally built by Thomas C. Later, Mr.

Please call our office at (229)942-9059 to schedule a consultation to speak to an attorney. So many people have been interested in the renovation process that is going on at the corner of Millard Fuller Blvd and Dudley St. Sullivan in 1837est. He was the 2nd Major of Americus in 1858 and also an attorney. In 1865, he faced a court-martial and was convicted by U.S. Army for shooting a solider with

a buckshot in his vineyard on S. Dudley Street, of which local citizens pooled together to pay his fines. Sullivan sold the home to a local physician, who later sold it to the Herron Family in 1927. We were lucky enough to purchase it from Mr. William Herron, after it was in his family for almost 90 years. It is our goal to keep this page updated as the progress continues on the home converting it into a law office so that the public can see. We hope to preserve the home to the best of our ability, giving the most respect possible to the history so that it can be enjoyed for many years to come. Please keep in mind that we have to bring the house up to code, so some changes will be done due to requirements. Other changes are being done to make sure the home is efficient.

Thank you to those of you who helped us achieve the rank of Best Attorney(s) in Americus for 2025. In 2013, when I walked away from a career I loved as a firefighter to become an attorney, I never had my sights on such. To achieve this in a profession where it is impossible to keep every client happy, we are honored and appreciate those who left reviews that helped us reach this ranking.

I personally want to thank Mr. Peter Banse and Wesley Larkin for their undying dedication to me and our law firm. Yes, I say “OUR” law firm because the two of them and our staff have helped Beamon Law achieve this honor. Americus and Ellaville are home to me, and it has been an honor to serve my community as a firefighter/paramedic and attorney. Starting a practice from scratch has not been easy. Wesley joined me shortly after the doors opened five years ago, and Mr. Banse has been with us from the beginning as a Senior Attorney, offering his guidance.

As I set out on this journey, my focus was to prove to my children that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. In my first semester of law school, I almost failed out, and my advisor told me that the statistics were not in my favor. As I politely exited his office, I tactfully told him what to do with his statistics. After law school, I knew I would struggle to pass the Bar Exam, as I knew I had never been good at taking exams. I have never been ashamed to admit that it took me four times to pass the bar exam, as I hope it motivates others not to give up.

I wish to give a special thanks to my wife for supporting and motivating me throughout the process. I would also like to thank every attorney in the district and all the Judges for their help and guidance along the way.

NOT GUILTY! This week, Mr. Larkin represented a client in Sumter County State Court, who was accused of Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane. After a trial, the jury found Mr. Larkin's client NOT GUILTY of both charges.

Happy Birthday to the boss, Wes Beamon!

Mr. Beamon recently represented a client who was charged with 105 counts of hunting violations, which were pursued in multiple counties by the Department of Natural Resources and multiple district attorney's offices as felonies and misdemeanors. The client's co-defendants were also charged with dozens of similar charges. Through Mr. Beamon's diligent representation and hard work, and with the assistance of co-counsel, all charges against the defendants were ultimately dismissed. Congratulations to Mr. Beamon and his client.

Today marks five years since Beamon Law opened the doors to our current location! It’s always a pleasure to show our beautiful office to our visitors. However, none of it would be possible without the support of our clients, our friends, our community, the hard work of our employees, and the forethought and labor of the Beamons. Years ago, Mr. Wesley Beamon envisioned this, and all of you are helping make it happen. Thank you all for your continued support!

Congratulations to Mr. Wesley Larkin and his clients! Last week, Mr. Larkin took two separate criminal cases to trial in Sumter County. In one case, Mr. Larkin's client was found not guilty on all charges. The other case was dismissed prior to the start of the trial. Our attorneys and staff work tirelessly for our clients and it is an honor to get them the justice they deserve.

Once again, our attorneys and staff were asked to name a veteran they would specifically like to honor on Veterans Day. They include fathers, grandfathers, and brothers. Beamon Law honors all who have worn the uniform for the United States, but we have a few special ones we’d like to honor by name. Thank you for your service.
