Morgan Williamson LLP, a law firm in Amarillo, Texas, is currently seeking a full-time legal assistant/paralegal to assist with intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights, and well as civil litigation. We do not expect candidates to have prior experience in intellectual property matters. We will train you in this highly specialized field. Successful candidates will have exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to produce work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced professional environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is preferred. Candidates should be team players who are individually organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize assignments, move matters forward, and communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing attorneys. Previous legal or administrative experience is preferred, although the level of experience is less important than finding a candidate who is capable, motivated, resourceful, and dependable.
