Millions of dollars: Walking the tightrope between common sense and aggression.

In August we settled a Missouri medical malpractice case for $1,000,000.00 with one defendant. There are others who will likely press the case to trial. We look forward to the fight. This week we settled a portion of an Illinois medical malpractice case for $1,150,000.00. Again, there are other dogs in the fight. In both cases we were able to ensure our clients were financially secure, while still pursuing the remaining defendants for their liability. “The biggest lesson that this career has taught me is that no matter what terrible thing our clients are going through, they still manage to be the greatest people. I think it should be a lesson to all, that even though life has dealt you a bad hand, you can still be kind through it all. By hearing these terrible stories from fantastic people, it's helped me remember to be a little kinder every day.”

🍂 FALL DRIVING SAFETY TIPS

Fall brings beautiful scenery, but changing road conditions can create extra hazards for drivers.

🚗 Keep these safety tips in mind:

Watch for wet leaves. They can make roads slippery, especially after rain.
Increase following distance. Give yourself extra time to react and stop.
Check your visibility. Keep your windshield clean and use your headlights when visibility is reduced.
Check your tires. Proper tire condition and pressure help maintain traction.
Slow down. Adjust your speed to match road and weather conditions.
