There are thousands of commercial truck accidents every year in PA. This link has some good reminders for all.

A fully-loaded tractor-trailer truck in Pennsylvania can weigh up to 40 tons, which is 38 tons more than your vehicle. This means a truck will take almost twice as long to stop as your car — and even longer on wet pavements.

So when you're driving in front of a truck, don't slow down suddenly unless it is absolutely necessary. Be sure to signal a turn or lane change in plenty of time to allow the trucker to react. More info: https://bit.ly/HeavyTrucksPA

Last week, the PA Supreme Court found that the household vehicle exclusion violates the Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law. A big win for Pennsylvania drivers injured in motor vehicle accidents!
As the Court stated, "...an insured should receive the coverage for which he[she] has paid."

If you are injured at work in 2019, the maximum compensation rate at which you can get paid is $1,049.00 per week. The amount you are entitled to if you are unable to work due to a work injury depends on your average weekly wage at the time of your injury.

An Oklahoma jury has awarded $25.5 million to the family of a cancer patient denied coverage by Aetna, with jurors saying that the insurer acted "recklessly" and that the verdict was meant as a message for Aetna to change its ways.

It is winter time in PA so "warming up" the car is common but did you know that WHERE you "warm it up" makes a difference on whether it is permitted?

As long as your car is on private property – like your driveway – In PA you may leave it unattended while it warms up, but it’s illegal to leave a running car unattended on public property.
