ALEXANDRIA ATTORNEY APPOINTED TO THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF ESTATE PLANNING ATTORNEYS

Alexandria, VA - The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys is pleased to announce that Girum Tesfaye, Attorney at Law, has been appointed to the Academy’s Board of Governors.

In his new capacity, Girum Tesfaye will serve as an advisor and help guide the direction of the national member organization. He joins eight other attorneys from around the country on the prestigious Board, which is the most important advisory panel to the senior management team at the Academy. Board members participate in research and development and provide feedback on all new Academy products and services.

A member of the Academy since 2020, Girum Tesfaye’s practice is dedicated to providing high quality estate planning services in the Washington metropolitan area. He regularly presents free public seminars on estate planning and asset protection strategies. Girum is the principal attorney at Tesfaye Law. He is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the Virginia Bar Association.

“The Academy recognizes Girum Tesfaye’s outstanding professionalism and dedication to the field of estate planning,” explains Robert Armstrong, founder of the Academy. “As a member of the Board of Governors, he will be able to share his knowledge and expertise with the members of the Academy to improve the practice of estate planning across the nation.”

We have some fantastic news to share with you all! Our estate planning law office is relocating to a state-of-the-art facility. We are thrilled to inform you that our new office will be situated at 6350 Walker Lane, Suite 530 Alexandria, VA 22310, just one mile away from our current location. This move allows us to stay connected to the community we serve, ensuring continued convenience for all our clients.

But that's not all! Our new office will enable us to serve you even better by offering a dedicated education space. The space will be utilized for small client classes, as well as accommodating larger groups when we engage and educate the public and various professional organizations for specialized continuing education (CE) and continuing legal education (CLE) classes.
