🚦 Fairfax Families for Safe Streets appreciated the opportunity to meet with Franconia Supervisor and Safety and Security Committee Chair Rodney Lusk recently to discuss next steps Fairfax County’s plan to take advantage of the new authority provided by the state legislature to expand the speed safety camera program into high-risk pedestrian crash corridors.

We look forward to working with Supervisor Lusk and Fairfax County on the expansion of this life-saving program.

Tom's pack hit the road with Bikes & Beers in Herndon for a great ride and an even better cause. Each event supports a local cycling charity working to make riding safer and better through improved policies, laws, and infrastructure.

Good miles, good cause, and a pretty sharp-looking Pack. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Your car doesn't have to be moving for your auto insurance to matter. Take, for example, the Virginia man who was injured by a luggage cart while loading his vehicle at a hotel. His auto insurer said the injury wasn't covered but the court disagreed.

Because loading luggage was considered part of the normal "use" of the vehicle, his auto policy applied, resulting in $30,000 in medical benefits.

Auto insurance can sometimes reach situations well beyond the traditional car crash.

🍽️ Regional summer restaurant week draws participation from Alexandria eateries

Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s Summer Restaurant Week runs Aug. 24-30, offering fixed-price brunch, lunch and dinner menus at restaurants across the region. Ten Alexandria eateries are participating, with menus ranging from $25 brunch or lunch options to $65 dinners.

Coming to theaters August 28, the movie Coyote vs. Acme finally asks the question generations of Looney Tunes fans have been wondering: Can Wile E. Coyote sue ACME for all those catastrophically defective products?

The live-action/animated comedy follows Wile E. Coyote as he hires a down-on-his-luck attorney to take on ACME Corporation after years of rockets, traps, explosives and other questionable products repeatedly backfire on him.

Product liability. Corporate defendants. Questionable safety warnings. A client with a very long documented history of injuries. Needless to say, the personal injury lawyers at Curcio Law are invested. 😂
