USCIS recently announced its intent to increase filing fees as of Oct. 2, 2020. Some fees are decreasing, but most are increasing. Contact Velt Immigration to see if you are able to file your immigration application before the fee increase!

USCIS just announced that it will remain closed to the public until at least June 4th due to the coronavirus.

Please be assured that Velt Immigration Law Firm, PLLC is still filing applications on behalf of its clients, and CIS is still accepting and processing them. However, local CIS offices remain closed for fingerprinting, biometrics and interviews.

Even with the current Government shutdown, USCIS continues to operate. It is funded by all the application fees. And, the Dept. of Labor is also currently funded, so employment-based applications will continue as usual (for the parts that involve the DOL). Therefore, the business of helping immigrants will continue as usual at Velt Immigration Law Firm, PLLC. Happy New Year!

USCIS is still open despite the government shutdown! Continue filing applications, appearing at your biometrics and interview appointments and responding to CIS requests, motions and any issue related to an immigration case you may have pending with CIS.

Renew your DACA if you meet all eligibility requirements! Speak with a licensed immigration attorney to determine if you are eligible to renew your DACA as well as if you should renew your DACA today.
