🌺 Hibiscus Lavender Lemonade
Makes about 6–8 glasses
You’ll need:
* 6 cups water, divided
* ½ cup dried hibiscus flowers
* 1–2 teaspoons culinary lavender
* ¾ cup sugar or honey, more or less to taste
* 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 5–7 lemons)
* Lemon slices for serving
* Ice
Make it:
1. Bring 2 cups water just to a boil, then remove from heat.
2. Add the hibiscus and lavender. Cover and steep for 8–10 minutes. I’d start with just 1 teaspoon lavender the first time.
3. Strain out the flowers. While the tea is still warm, stir in your sugar or honey until dissolved.
4. Add the remaining 4 cups cold water and 1 cup fresh lemon juice.
5. Chill, taste, and adjust. More lemon = tangier; more sweetener = softer and more refreshing.
6. Pour over lots of ice and garnish with lemon slices.
Little upgrade: Add a splash of sparkling water to each glass right before serving.
