Katelyn's dedication to her clients and commitment to the communities we serve have made a lasting impact on our team. This milestone is a reflection of her hard work, integrity, and commitment to excellence in the practice of law.
Katelyn focuses her practice in the areas of employment and municipal law while serving as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Alexandria and surrounding communities. She has experience guiding employers and employees through various legal issues and regularly provides employment-related trainings and legislative updates to employers and Human Resource personnel. She thoroughly enjoys educating her clients and the community on the ever-changing landscape of employment law, and helping employers stay informed, proactive, and confident as they navigate complex workplace issues.
Katelyn has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025). In addition, she was named as a Top 5 Professional under 40 by the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and is a 2020 graduate of the Leadership Alexandria Program. In 2024, she was awarded the Dream Builder Award by Lakes Area Professional Women in recognition of her hard work and dedication to creating a space and place women in a traditionally male-dominated profession.
Outside of her practice, Katelyn serves as an attorney coach for the Alexandria Area High School Mock Trial Team and is an active member and Past President of Lakes Area Professional Women. Katelyn and her husband live in Alexandria with their two children, where they are active in cribbage league, and enjoy weekends on the lake with friends and family.
