Let’s clear up a common misconception in today’s market (Be open minded and read all the way through)

I was recently told such a great statement that is very true (pause and think on it for a second)….NOT everyone is “stuck” with a 2.5%–4.0% mortgage rate.

In reality, anyone who purchased or refinanced within the last 3+ years likely has a mortgage rate somewhere between 6.25% and 8.5%. For those homeowners, today’s rates in the 5.5%–6.0% range actually look very appealing.

Even homeowners with a 4.0% mortgage aren’t always in the position people assume. Many are carrying:
• High-interest credit card debt (often 20%+)
• Home equity lines or personal loans
• Rising monthly obligations that strain cash flow

When you factor in those additional debts, their true blended rate may be closer to 7%–8%, not 4%. In some cases, a refinance at a slightly higher mortgage rate — combined with consolidating high-interest debt — can lower the total monthly payment, improve cash flow, and help stabilize the household financially.

The takeaway?

💡 Opportunity still exists.
💡 Solutions still exist.
💡 And yes — there is business to be done.
