Due to the extent of the injuries my son sustained in his motor vehicle accident and so that I can focus on my family and his constant care, I've made the decision to close my law practice. I am working to communicate with each of my clients to develop a plan. I'm so very grateful for the number of attorneys who have offered to assist my clients and me.

My son sustained 69% TBSA 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his body, from head to ankles. It's been nearly a month and he remains in critical condition, albeit making progress. They anticipate he will be in TBICU a minimum of 3-4 months. He will have many surgeries.

I have to be able to focus on learning how to provide his physical and mental health care now, and for when he is discharged to my home. Since the moment of his accident, our family has been living in a whirlwind.

I am beginning to reach out to each of my clients individually. I will work diligently, but please forgive me, some days are so hectic. There's so much to process and, my heart is heavy.

Thank you all for entrusting myself and our firm to provide legal services to you during the last 14 years and 8 months. I have truly been blessed in so many ways.

I look forward to resuming my legal career when I take the bench in January 2025.

Happy Sunday!

Tuesday is the runoff election and your last chance to decide who will be your next Probate Judge for the next 6 years.

After Tuesday, alot of my supporters will be out helping to get the signs cleaned up. We will be working as expediently as we can. I do have to be in Court most of the day Thursday, in addition to several meetings. I'm in conferences and meetings all day on Friday. I have 5 trials the next week and working to catch up. I'll be in a grind with work so I will be a bit slower but will work diligently to get it done as quickly as possible. Please bear with me.

I am planning to keep the signs. If you have a sign in your yard and you take it down, please send me a message with your address so we can get it picked up from you. If you want to drop off a sign or two at my law firm, that will be much appreciated.

Thank you all for your support not just during this campaign, but also supporting my business and embracing me through adversities. The pride we all take in our community is a beautiful thing.

A huge Thank You to each of you in Calhoun County who casted your vote for me in the primary election on Tuesday. I am honored to be entrusted by you to serve as your next Probate Judge. ⚖️

While I led with the most votes in Calhoun County, I did not secure more than 50% of the votes needed to avoid a runoff. The next election, the runoff, will be April 16th, between the two candidates with the highest number of votes in the primary election. 🇺🇸

Our biggest obstacle will be voter turnout as the Probate Judge seat is the only one on the ballot on April 16th. Please help us encourage all of your family, friends and anyone else you know to vote on April 16.

Since my election is continuing, I will be leaving my signs up until after April 16. If you don't have a sign and would like to display one, or more, please let me know and one of us will get it delivered to you.

If you'd like to help with the campaign efforts the next 5.5 weeks, we do appreciate all of the help, as it takes a team!
