Summer's here, and we can't do anything about the heat; however, we're cooling down our prices for the summer. For a limited time, our price for a single document notarization is reduced to $21.00. We hope this helps, as we like to show our customers our appreciation wherever possible. Reminding you that we have the AFTERPAY invoicing option available to stretch out payment if needed. Stop by our website to schedule a notarization at https://www.let-a-vetnotary.com 🥾🇺🇸

Providing worldwide online electronic notary public services

ONLINE NOTARIZATION COSTS - We realize the cost of online notarization is higher than in-person notary service, as the convenience factor, enhanced security, technology and licensing contribute to the expense. To address that, LET A VET Notary offers the AFTERPAY option in our invoicing process to allow anyone to spread the payment over installments if needed. Our prices are not prohibitive at $21 for a single document, but we offer the extended service as a convenience just in case.

Is this process secure?

Remote online notarization platforms provide notaries with online, database-driven identity verification tools that help vet the signers appearing before them. Not only does this help prevent fraudulent IDs from being used, but adds a layer of safety and security to the transaction that doesn’t occur in person. Signers only connect with a commissioned remote notary if they are able to provide a valid proof of identity and pass the credential analysis and knowledge-based authentication stages.

Is Online Notarization Legal?

Online notarization is both legal and widely accepted in all 50 U.S. states. In 2011, with the passage of House Bill 2318/Senate Bill 827, Virginia became the first state to authorize its notaries to notarize documents remotely via live audio-video technology. Since then, numerous states have passed laws authorizing their notaries to perform online notarizations. These online notarizations are accepted across the country due to a long-standing body of laws in each state that specifically provide for recognition and acceptance of out-of-state notarizations.

In addition to laws in each state recognizing and accepting common out-of-state notarizations, the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the US Constitution may provide an additional basis for states to accept out of state notarizations.

Documents notarized on the Notarize platform are electronically signed by the signer(s) and the notary. Certain states and public agencies have specific additional requirements and limitations for accepting electronically-signed documents and out-of-state notarizations, and not all documents may be electronically-signed. Please confirm with your document originator their acceptance of online notarization prior to your session with our e-notary.

How Do I Notarize Something Remotely?

While online notary services may provide different options and features, most companies offer a similar process for remote notarization. To complete the online notarization, you need access to a stable internet connection. You also need audio and video technology through your computer, tablet, or mobile device to connect with a virtual live notary. Once you are logged in, you will have the ability to upload the document you want to notarize through the company’s online platform.

To begin the process, the notary will ask to verify your identity. Typically, you may satisfy the request for proof of identity with a valid state- or government-issued ID. After confirmation, you may discuss your document with the live notary and complete the notarization. Once the notarization is complete, you will have secure access to the digitally stamped document.
