If you need assistance or legal information (not advice) about your civil legal matter, visit our volunteers at SHRC this week on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, from 9am - 12 noon.

If you see this sign, know that hope, healing, and a safe path forward are just ahead.

Conveniently located near the former Huey P. Long Hospital, the Family Justice Center of Central Louisiana provides immediate, compassionate support for individuals experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking.

Our Purpose

To provide one safe location where survivors can access the services they need to begin healing, including:

Speak with a trained Advocate
Develop a personalized Safety Plan
Meet with a Detective
Meet with a Prosecutor
Receive Civil Legal Services
Receive Individual Counseling
Join a Support Group

Bring your questions about wills, power of attorney, succession, divorce, adoption, custody, name changes, wage claims, housing issues, and more to Violet on Saturday, July 18.

The Pro Bono Project staff and volunteers will be on hand from 10am to 12 noon at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center to provide legal information (not advice) and resources to members of the community.

Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged, so come see us on the morning of July 18 in Violet!
