She is keenly tuned in to the pulse of the Albuquerque housing market and understands sellers' needs and what buyers seek. As a Personal Property Appraiser, Mechele is able to offer an estimate of value during her initial visit and tour through the home. She continues her education with the American Society of Appraisers and will soon carry the ASA designation. Her expertise is in decorative arts, whole home appraisals, antiques and jewelry. ESTATE SALES & LIQUIDATION
Once the valuables have been removed for sale and/or safekeeping, our team of professionals will review and appraise all furniture, appliances, tools, art, decor, collectibles, etc. Items are individually cleaned boxed, tagged and prepared for sale. Generally, three days are spent conducting a public Estate Sale right on site. Advertisement of the sale is done via Albuquerque Journal, Website, Email blasts to consistent buyers and dealers and onsite signage in the vicinity of the home. After sale period ends, all modestly valued remaining items are cleared out the residence. Also removed are non-saleable objects and household debris, leaving the premises “broom clean” in preparation for inspections, having the home on the market, and the real estate closing. How we charge:
Our fee for Estate Services is based on a percentage of cash received for the total items sold and includes all expense relating to advertising your estate sales, cleaning, labor, trash removal, moving of all items from the home and any incidental costs. So there is no out-of-pocket expense to you. We move quickly and can handle all types of estates. If you are using our Auction Services only, our fee is also based on a percentage of total items sold, however we ask that you arrange for your items to be brought to the auction house.
