Job Summary:
Fast paced law firm in Albany, NY seeking an entry level or experienced Paralegal for a full-time position supporting a team of attorneys focusing in the areas of estate planning, name change, assisted reproduction technology, and surrogacy. Anticipated start date as soon as possible, but we are willing to be flexible for the right candidate. This position is Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and will pay between $20.00/hour and $25.00/hour based on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Candidate will work closely with clients and attorneys to conduct client intakes, draft estate planning, name change, assisted reproduction technology, and surrogacy documents, and meet with clients to sign documents. This individual should be highly motivated, detail-oriented and project a positive attitude. Candidates will possess excellent organizational skills, written/verbal communication, time management skills and computer skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
⢠Associates degree or higher from accredited university is preferred, but not required
⢠Paralegal experience is preferred, but not required
⢠Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe PDF
⢠Excellent follow up skills, attention to detail, calendaring of appointments, and time management
⢠Proactive, mature, and professional
