Hello everybody,
On May 24, 2022, Gov. Hochul signed the Adult Survivors Act. This means that if a person was sexually assaulted and were 18 years old or older at the time of the attack, but their right to sue was time barred, they may now sue for their injuries. The right to sue begins in 6 months after 5/24/22 and will end one year after those six months (November 24, 2023)

Hi everyone. It looks like the COVID "situation" will be with us for a while longer. I have noticed that a lot of court cases are no longer handled in person, this is especially true in with traffic tickets, Now, in this COVID world, they are frequently handled via mail. Despite that, you should seek the advice and representation of counsel in negotiating traffic tickets. The NYS DMV is very strict when it comes to points and your overall driving record.
