The matter posted today by Mr. D***s affects Park Models & Mobile/Mfd. Homes that are insured on Policy Numbers that start with 106- . RV's that are insured on Policy Numbers that start with 077- are not in the affected category. Any increases on the affected Policies can be discussed with the Agent and adjusted back to last years figures or whatever the client decides. There HAS NOT been a Rate Increase; however, the Insured Values in each Policy have been Indexed for an increase in Insured Value, which reflects in a bottom line Rate Increase. This was a changed made at the corporate level, and to which the Agent network and managers in the field were not advised. I learned about the matter after the fact, instead of the advance notice which is normal procedure. As your Agent, I am addressing the matter on each and every policy affected, and working with my clientele to adjust those renewals to suit the client (not the company). Policies have been affected by as much as 400+ per year increase in Premium, depending what and how much coverage you have on the Policy. I have 100's of clients affected by this matter.
