"It was difficult talking to my dad about his funeral plans, so we made a game of it: real ideas vs. ridiculous ideas. A few top ones:

Karaoke machine by the casket, but you have to sing either Barry Manilow or Creedence Clearwater Revival.

A very dramatic drag queen who stands up mid-eulogy to yell "He did this on purpose!" and then sashay away.

An inflatable dancing tube man set up at the gravesite while the grandkids sing "It's Me Again, Margaret."

We had a great conversation, lots of laughs, and were able to nail down some real plans. But, I won't tell you if the ideas above made the cut or not!" -Jill W.
