Spring Cleaning is Upon Us! ⏱🌷

Here’s a Few Ways to Get Focused…

- Define your goals: Know what you want to accomplish before you start. Sounds easy, right? When you know exactly what you want to accomplish you’re more likely to achieve it because you have a finish point in mind.

- Start Small: We recommend turning each chore into a small task. For example, one junk drawer or cabinet at a time. 👍🏻

- Plan Ahead: For larger projects, like entire rooms or garages, pick a day on the calendar and set aside time for it. By doing this, you can mentally prepare for the task.

- Seasonal Storage: This is key! Put away holiday items and seasonal clothing until there seasons. This will give you a fresh start to every season and help keep up on donations throughout the year.

- Donate: Use your best judgment on keeping clutter for the “future”. Be honest with yourself with when you intend to have that garage sale. If that seems like too much of a task or is out of season, donate it!

Here’s 3 ways how:

1. Inspect for Ice Damage- This is important if you have a concrete patio. Water that has frozen and thawed over the Winter can cause more damage in the long run if left to further deteriorate. *Best to fix them now.

2. Clean off Mildew and Algae- The solutions to this can range depending on the situation. It is best to start off with a stiff broom to sweep off the surface. The most gentle way to clean these stains is by using 1/2 cup baking soda and 1 Gallon of water w/ an 1/8 Cup Dish Soap. Let sit for 30 min and Scrub. 🧽🧽

3. Apply Sealant- If your patio has not been sealed in the last 3-5 years, it is advised to apply sealant to prolong the life of your patio.
