Anyone looking for an update on enforcement and compliance with the CTA? The Treasury Department issued a statement indicating they would not be enforcing compliance or penalties. I am sure this will not be the last we hear about this as Treasury said they will be issuing a narrowing rule shortly.

UPDATE: Traffic is back to normal operations

Please be advised that all of Public Square will be completely CLOSED to all vehicular traffic for parts of today. Liberty Street between Broadway and Court Street is already closed. The rest of Public Square will close around NOON. These closures could occur earlier depending on the number of spectators. Please review the map to plan your travels accordingly. All streets in red will be closed. There will be officers stationed at most intersections to aid motorists who may need some assistance with directions. ODOT will also be assisting with re-routing the commercial motor vehicle traffic.
