The Okolo Law Firm is grateful to have been able to obtain civil accountability for another member of our community that was brutalized by the Akron Police Department. This is our second lawsuit against Officer Spragg and if his record tells us anything, it may not be the last. If the city of Akron cares about the safety and wellbeing of its community members, they must do more to hold officers accountable for police violence. My firm will continue to fight on behalf of this community and work to hold police accountable when our city leadership refuses to do so.

Since January of 2024 Dierra has had to fight criminal charges, fight the doubt, fight the city, fight the police department, and after all the struggle she has come out VICTORIOUS!! Through it all The Okolo Law Firm has been by her side and I am proud to have been her lawyer in this fight. I have too much to say and vent about these past two years, but for now I will leave it at this. WE WON ✊🏿

What a great start to the week! I love being able to secure wins like this! This case could have had serious implications for this young man’s entrepreneurial endeavors. Grateful to all parties for doing the right thing.
