The American Rescue Plan will start sending child tax credits in July 2021. The IRS has tools to help you determine eligibility or to opt-out of monthly payments if you want to receive your tax credit all at once when you file your 2021 taxes.

Families can now opt out of the monthly Child Tax Credit (CTC) payments through an online tool on the Internal Revenue Service's website.

UPDATE REGARDING CORONA VIRUS OFFICE PROCEDURES:
We have remained open to serve you, but we've made a few changes to ensure that our staff and our clients stay safe.
Our law firm is practicing social distancing in accordance with the recommendations of the CDC and SC DHEC. This means we continue to limit face-to-face interaction in the following ways:
1. Client meetings will take place by telephone or by Zoom video conference.
2. Documents that need to be delivered should be sent electronically or placed in our secure mailbox in the front driveway (not the exterior door to our building).
3. If you need to come into the office (you need something notarized or to prepare for a hearing) we will make special accommodations in advance. Please call.

We have continually served our clients throughout this pandemic. At this time, all of our staff have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine and is scheduled for a second. We don’t just do this for ourselves and our family. We do this to protect our clients and community. We hope you will get your vaccine when the time comes so we can all go back to living a normal life as soon as possible.
