RIP to a dear colleague. Mr. Daly will be missed 🕊️

Lenawee County is saddened to announce the death of Lenawee County Commissioner James “Jim” Daly, who died Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Commissioner Daly represented District 5 on the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners and was dedicated to serving the residents of Lenawee County and the communities he represented.

County officials and employees join the community in extending their heartfelt condolences to Commissioner Daly’s family, friends and all those who knew and cared for him.
