Cook County District #2 and #3!!
The Hurricane Helene debris Contractor and County Road Department would like to hear from our community regarding any remaining Hurricane Helene debris on local roads in District 2 and 3 ONLY that may have been missed on the final pass! Your input is invaluable in helping us identify any areas that need attention. Please take a moment to call or share the specific address locations where debris is still present, if any, so we can coordinate efforts to clean them up effectively. Together, we can ensure our roads are safe and accessible for everyone. The rest of the Districts will get a notification in the upcoming weeks as they are still collecting debris in those districts. The office is without power, so no phone and no internet; there are very few things we can do without computers and printers anyway. The courts are closed today; and are expected to have limited operations all week.

We will work limited hours until power and services are restored. I do not have power at home either and my cell signal has been spotty.

Our big magnolia at the office fell and took out our power lines, phone lines, and power meter. So it may be a couple of days until the power is restored. I will update daily. Merry Christmas to you and yours! Our office will be closed Monday 12/25 and Tuesday 12/26 so that our staff can enjoy the holiday with their families. In addition to our office exterior being extra bright and festive this year, Emily Moore decorated our gorgeous gingerbread-themed tree in the lobby! She’s one talented lady!
