USCIS has recently implemented enhanced screening and
vetting measures for certain immigration benefits.

These updates may include additional background checks,
expanded review of publicly available information,
and closer examination of supporting evidence submitted with applications.

While these changes do not automatically affect every case,
they highlight the importance of submitting complete, accurate, and well-prepared immigration filings.

Whether you are applying for a Green Card, U.S. citizenship, adjustment of status,
removal of conditions, or another immigration benefit, proper legal guidance
can help you avoid unnecessary delays and potential complications.

Every immigration case is unique.

policy updates may impact your situation, our office is here to help.

Immigration enforcement technology is expanding rapidly across the United States.

According to a recent report from The Verge,
more than 190 companies attended the 2026 Border Security Expo in Phoenix,
showcasing advanced surveillance systems, AI-powered tracking tools, drones,
facial recognition technology, and monitoring software designed for agencies like ICE, CBP, and DHS. (The Verge)

The report explains how many of these technologies are no longer focused only on the border,
but are increasingly being used throughout the U.S. for immigration enforcement and monitoring.

Critics and civil rights advocates have raised concerns about privacy, surveillance expansion,
and the growing use of AI in immigration enforcement operations. (The Verge)

As immigration policies and enforcement tools continue evolving,
understanding your rights has never been more important. If you or a loved one have immigration concerns,
speaking with an experienced immigration attorney can help you better understand your legal options and protect your future.

Latinos continue to shape the future of the United States 🇺🇸✨

According to new Pew Research data, the Hispanic population in the U.S. reached 68 million in 2024
nearly doubling since 2000. Today, Latinos make up 20% of the country’s population, compared to just 5% in 1970.

Even more impactful:
Latinos accounted for 56% of total U.S. population growth between 2000 and 2024,
making them the largest contributor to the nation’s growth during that period.

This community is not only growing fast, but also becoming more diverse, younger,
and increasingly present across every region of the country. Most Latinos in the U.S.
are citizens and many are U.S.-born, reflecting the strong roots and long-term impact of Hispanic communities nationwide.

From culture and business to education and politics, Latinos are helping redefine the American story every day.

Many visa holders could soon face major changes in the Green Card process.

According to a recent New York Times report,
some immigrants applying for permanent residency through Adjustment of Status may now be
required to leave the United States and complete part of the process abroad before receiving a Green Card.

Who may be affected?
• H-1B visa holders
• International students
• Spouses and dependent family members
• Employment-based and family-based applicants

One of the biggest misunderstandings is that Adjustment of Status has NOT been eliminated.

However, immigration attorneys are warning that USCIS
could begin denying more applications unless applicants can prove “extraordinary circumstances.”

For many immigrants and families, leaving the U.S. without proper legal guidance could create serious immigration complications,
delays, or even impact future Green Card eligibility.

If you are currently applying for residency,
considering travel outside the U.S.,
or have questions about your immigration status,
speaking with an experienced immigration lawyer before making any decisions is critical.

Many immigrants do not realize they may qualify for immigration protection under VAWA.

VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)
may help certain immigrants who experienced abuse,
threats, emotional abuse, battery, or extreme cruelty from a U.S. citizen
or lawful permanent resident spouse, parent, or adult child.

Most importantly:

✅ Applications remain confidential
✅ Men and women may both qualify
✅ You may apply without the abuser’s permission

If you feel trapped because of your immigration situation, legal options may still exist.
