At the cusp of 2022 we viewed this incredibly crafted Woodstock house built by artist-engineer John Kahn who designed sets for .

Touring this secluded 5 acre compound was like being on a movie set, the grounds full of of sculptures of many mediums, and with multiple outbuildings in which to live and create.

Seeing this property was a fitting end to 2021. The Grateful Dead lyrics “What a Long Strange Trip it’s Been”from the classic 1970’s song Truckin came to mind as I wandered the fantastical property with our enchanted buyer. It was only after our viewing that I learned the current owner was a former secretary for the Grateful Dead.

Been inspired by Stewart Brand, founding editor of “The Whole Earth Catalog” since discovering him while reading Tom Wolfe’s 1968 classic “The Electric Cool Aid Acid Test” in High School.

Was so happy to see the progress on the new driveway for a three lot subdivision in Accord. So I decided it was time for some Kerhonkytonk takeout: pulled pork, roasted chicken, mac and cheese and coleslaw.
Had a nice bottle of Malbec 🍷 at home to help wash it down.
