The Green Wave Gazette Abington High School's student newspaper Greenwavegazette.org In 2017, Ms. In 2019-2020 and again in 2020-2021, the was named a "Distinguished SNO Site".

Abington High School’s student newspaper club, "The Green Wave Gazette," has been publishing since 2003-2004 under four different advisors and/or co-advisors. Patricia Pflaumer, an ELA teacher at AHS, returned as the advisor until her retirement in 2021. In 2018-2019, Class of 2021 students Matt Lyons and Aaron Johnson created a segment in the ACAM studios called "The Weekly Wave." In 2019-2020, C

am Curney (Class of 2020) introduced another taped weekly segment called "Coffee with Cam”

In a year where many publication staffs never even met face-to-face, amazingly, the total number of SNO Distinguished Sites hit a new high. SNO recognized 67 student publications as distinguished sites, compared to 63 last year, and awarded 242 publications with at least one badge. Upon tallying up....
