A few upcoming dates I want to share with all clients and potential new clients:

I am out of the office beginning October 10, 2025. I will work on returning all phone calls and e-mails when I get back in the office on Monday, October 20. If you need anything while I'm gone, please contact my assistant Cindy at 325-268-4155 or [email protected]

Our office will be closed Monday, October 13, 2025 for the Federal Holiday and Tuesday, October 14 for maintenance and upgrades to our phone systems and computers.

Hi everyone! We are officially in Phase 3 of the Cypress Street Improvement Project. Here is a map of the current closures.

During this time, the best way to access our office is by turning South on Cedar Street from North 1st.

Parking:
--The lot across the street from The Abilene Public Library (NW Corner of 2nd and Cedar)
--There are some spots on North 2nd- you can turn on North 2nd from Cedar and then make a U-Turn to access those spots
--There is a lot directly North from the NCCIL (SE Corner of North 2nd and Cedar)

If you plan on giving a gift (including both money and property) make sure you’re aware of the annual gift tax exclusion amount (17k this year) which is set every year by the IRS. The annual exclusion amount is how much a person, even Drake, can gift to another without having a to file a gift tax return, and possibly having to pay gift tax.

The Birkin Drake gifted is worth $30,000.00 so Drake will need to be sure to file a gift tax return for $13,000.00 👛
