Calina Mishay has painted murals all over Texas, from the Gulf Coast to the Panhandle, and now Canada and Mexico. Her paintings are larger than life and vibrant in color, just like her, but they also portray regular small town life in its beautiful simplicity. Her freestyle painting is a sight to behold. She gives great insight into how she made the decision to quit her "regular" good paying job to pursue her passion of outdoor mural painting. We talk about the goals she set for herself, including charging $100,000 for a mural (which she has done), and she goes into the value of the personality and story of the artist in marketing their artwork, along with confidence.

Her current project is a mural in Albany, Texas for the Fandagle, a famous show put on by locals telling the history of the area with cows and horses right in the mix. Her next mural in June is in Canada.
