Muko Protection Agency wishes to inform all Kenyan and Ugandan nationals currently in Iraq that our officers will be available in Baghdad starting 5 August 2026.
Our team will be traveling to Iraq primarily to facilitate the repatriation of the body of Shamim Nakalema, who tragically lost her life after suffering severe burns in Iraq. Alongside this humanitarian mission, we remain committed to supporting and protecting migrant workers in need.
During our stay, we will be receiving and handling cases involving labor disputes, unpaid salaries, passport confiscation, abuse, exploitation, human trafficking, legal concerns, and other challenges faced by migrant workers.
If you require assistance or know someone who does, please visit our office in Baghdad beginning 5 August 2026. Every case will be reviewed individually, and we will work closely with the relevant authorities and stakeholders to seek appropriate solutions.
Muko Protection Agency remains committed to protecting, supporting, and standing with migrant workers wherever they are.
