; HiiL recently held the Triangulation Workshop for the Justice Needs Survey on crime and crime prevention with our Reference Group members. These included representatives from the Governance and Security Programme Secretariat/JLOS, Uganda Police Force, UNODC Uganda, Justice Centers Uganda, Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), The Legal Aid Service Providers Network (LASPNET), Uganda Law Society and the Judiciary of Uganda.
The JNS 2024 study is focused on crime/crime prevention, detailing people’s experiences about crime, safety, victimization, reporting and their perceptions of the criminal justice system and actors in Uganda. We thank all the participants for the great discussion and taking time from their busy schedules to attend this meeting!
