📣 OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 2026! Join the Yaroslav Mudryi NLU Team for CEEMC in Romania! 🏛⚖️

We are happy to announce the start of the selection process for the team that will represent our university at the Central and Eastern European Moot Court Competition (CEEMC) 2026 in Timisoara, Romania! 🇷🇴

✨ What is CEEMC?
This is a prestigious international competition focused on European Union Law. Participants analyze a complex case, prepare written memorials, and compete in oral rounds before experienced judges, simulating proceedings at the Court of Justice of the European Union. 🎓

🗓 Competition Dates: 1-3 May, 2026.
📍 Location: Timisoara, Romania.

We are looking for motivated and responsible students who are ready to learn, work in a team, and worthily represent the University on the international stage!

The Ideal Candidate:
✅ Has an English level of B2+ or higher;
✅ Is interested in EU Law;
✅ Is willing to develop skills in legal research, analysis, and writing;
✅ Possesses strong public speaking skills or a desire to develop them;
✅ Is a team player with a high level of self-organization.

Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition to become National Runner-up Champions! With unwavering determination and skill, they’ve charted a course straight to Washington D.C. 🇺🇸, where new horizons await.

We are immensely proud of the crew members - Stefaniia Druzenok (4th year, Faculty of International and European Law), Samanta Kravchuk (4th year, Faculty of International and European Law), Denys Med (4th year, Faculty of International and European Law), Alisa Tykhonenko (5th year, Faculty of Advocacy).

As we announced, an interactive lecture with our special guest from the USA is coming soon!

Topic: Challenges Presented by Representing Unpopular Clients or Individuals Accused of Serious Offenses.

Speaker: Thomas F. Glassman — a Shareholder at Bonezzi Switzer Polito & Perry in Cincinnati office, and an attorney with over 20 years of defense experience in Ohio and Kentucky. He specializes in advising and representing insurance companies, doctors, and hospitals in court.

Format: 30-minute introduction, followed by a 30-minute discussion. This is a unique opportunity to improve your legal English with a native speaker. Get your questions ready, and prepare for an dialogue with our guest!

Our 2023 University's team has not only passed the national rounds but rocked the international ones in the Hague (stay tuned for the insides from the team).
