Waratibu na wasimamizi wa vihatarishi (Risk Champions) wa Tume ya Ulinzi wa Taarifa Binafsi (PDPC), leo tarehe 12 Mei, 2026 katika ukumbi wa chuo cha VETA uliopo Jijini Dodoma wamepatiwa mafunzo ya usimamizi wa vihatarishi ili kuongeza uelewa wa kutambua, kuchambua na kudhibiti vihatarishi vinavyoweza kuathiri utendaji kazi wa shughuli za PDPC na Serikali kwa ujumla.

Akimwakilisha Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa PDPC, Dkt. Emmanuel Mkilia, katika kufungua mafunzo hayo, Mkurugenzi wa Tafiti za Ulinzi wa Taarifa na Teknolojia - PDPC, Dkt. Noe Nnko amewataka maafisa hao kufuatilia kwa makini mafunzo hayo ili kuboresha uwajibikaji katika eneo la kazi.

Mafunzo hayo yanatolewa na Afisa Ukaguzi Mkuu kutoka Wizara ya Fedha Bi. Adolphina Lugendo na yatafanyika kwa siku nne kuanzia leo mpaka tarehe 15 Mei, 2026.

*HABARI PICHA:* PDPC IMESHIRIKI UWASILISHAJI WA BAJETI YA WIZARA YA MAWASILIANO NA TEKNOLOJIA YA HABARI

Tume ya Ulinzi wa Taarifa Binafsi (PDPC) imeshiriki katika uwasilishaji wa Bajeti ya Wizara ya Mawasiliano na Teknolojia ya Habari Bungeni Dodoma, ikiendeleza dhamira ya kulinda faragha na usalama wa taarifa binafsi za wananchi.

Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya PDPC, Mhe. Balozi Adadi Rajabu, pamoja na Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa PDPC, Dkt. Emmanuel Mkilia, April 30,2026 walikuwepo Bungeni Dodoma, kushuhudia na kuunga mkono vipaumbele vinavyojenga mazingira salama ya kidijitali nchini.

Akizungumza wakati wa uwasilishaji huo, Waziri wa Mawasiliano na Teknolojia ya Habari, Angellah Kairuki, alisisitiza kuwa kipaumbele ni kuimarisha ulinzi na usalama wa anga ya mtandao, ikiwa ni pamoja na kuongeza uelewa kwa wananchi kuhusu faragha na ulinzi wa taarifa binafsi, kukabiliana na utapeli wa mtandaoni, kuimarisha mifumo ya ufuatiliaji wa makosa ya mtandao, kulinda miundombinu muhimu ya TEHAMA, na kuanzisha mifumo madhubuti ya usimamizi na tathmini ya usalama wa mtandao.

Ushiriki wa PDPC unaonyesha hatua ya vitendo katika kuhakikisha kuwa maendeleo ya TEHAMA yanaenda sambamba na ulinzi wa taarifa binafsi na faragha za wananchi.

Watumishi wa Tume ya Ulinzi wa Taarifa Binafsi (PDPC), leo tarehe 1 Mei 2026 tumeungana na wafanyakazi wote nchini na duniani kwa ujumla kusheherekea siku ya wafanyakazi duniani (Meimosi). Tukisheherekea siku hii, tunatambua mchango wa kila mmoja katika kuimarisha ulinzi wa taarifa binafsi nchini.

Maadhimisho hayo yameambatana na Kauli Mbiu isemayo "Kazi zenye staha ni nguzo imara kwa maendeleo endelevu katika utekelezaji wa Dira ya Maendeleo ya Taifa 2050".
