THE IMPORTANCE OF LEAVING A WILL PRIOR YOUR DEMISE.

Questions: Do you own any valuable item(s)? Do you have a family? Have you identified all those whom you are not and/or whom you are related with and what should they or shouldnt they inherit from your wealth/properties?

The answer to all those questions could be positive or negative. But the point is you should protect your loved ones from any unnecessary dispute on division of your properties prior your demise by making arrangements on what will happen to your wealth & properties after your demise. This is done by making yourself a Will.

Things to be identified on a Will:

1. You should identify what items and/or what properties will be divided/bequeathed to whom and whom.

2. You should also identify those who owe you and those whom you owe for making arrangments on payments and on how you should recover your debts.

3. Any other necessary arrangement that the person making the Will thinks it is/are important to be addressed on that Will.

Perhaps you may need to find yourself a lawyer for drafting a Will on your behalf.

That lawyer can also make arrangements on your behalf so that the said Will could be sealed at the court of records.

Speaking of the court of record in the United Republic of Tanzania, the same is the High Court of Tanzania.
