Important Update from HD Visa
After many years of organising visa trips and running a walk-in office here on Koh Samui, it’s time for me to make a few changes.
For a while now, the business has been operating under the name HD Enterprises. To keep things simple going forward: HD Visa and HD Enterprises are the same. Nothing mysterious, just a cleaner structure.
Over the past years I’ve slowly stepped back from the traditional visa trip business. The process has become more complicated and unpredictable. Rules change, interpretations shift, and things don’t always depend purely on written regulations. For a small independent operator, it simply isn’t realistic to compete in an environment where others may have “shortcuts” that I don’t believe in using. I prefer to work clearly, transparently and within the proper framework.
There is another point worth mentioning. Many people understandably saw visa runs as a kind of short trip in Southeast Asia. But travelling to apply for and obtain a Thai visa is very different from a leisure outing. It is a legal and procedural matter. Over time, expectations sometimes blurred, and a legal consultation service was occasionally treated like a travel or hospitality provider. That brought with it frustration and the kind of online noise I am not interested in being part of. So I have decided to move away from that model entirely.
Running a staffed office in Maenam with fixed opening hours also no longer makes sense for me. And, quite simply, I am not getting any younger. I would like to slow things down a little and focus on quality work instead of constant operational pressure.
What is changing
Starting 1 April, I will:
- Close the Maenam office permanently.
- Base operations from the main office in Ban Taling Ngaam.
- Hold weekly consultation meetings in three locations around Koh Samui (details coming soon).
- Work strictly by appointment only.
I will share the consultation days and locations shortly.
What I continue to offer
This does not mean I am disappearing. Quite the opposite.
My focus is now fully on professional visa and business consultation. That means:
- Personal consultation by appointment, so each case gets proper time and attention.
- Weekly meetings at different locations on the island on various days of the week.
- Help with preparing visa applications and making sure documents are correctly organised.
- Support with administrative formalities related to visa and business processes.
- Clear guidance on current Thai visa regulations and requirements.
- Advice on establishing and structuring businesses in Thailand.
Instead of organising trips, I concentrate on helping you understand the situation properly and prepare your case correctly.
