🌱 Can tax incentives create lasting social impact?

Thailand's Cabinet has approved in principle enhanced tax measures aimed at encouraging greater support for social enterprises—organizations that generate both economic value and positive social change.

💡 The proposed measures include:

✅ Permanent 100% corporate tax deductions for qualifying contributions to social enterprises.

✅ Increased tax deductions for donations to the Social Enterprise Promotion Fund.

✅ Extended tax exemptions for qualifying donations and transfers made through the Revenue Department's e-Donation system.

✅ More flexible investment conditions to encourage long-term support for social enterprises.

These initiatives reflect Thailand's continued commitment to fostering sustainable development while creating meaningful opportunities for businesses and individuals to contribute to society through tax-efficient giving.

🚨 VAT Extension Alert!

The Thai Cabinet has approved a draft Royal Decree to extend Thailand's 7% Value Added Tax (VAT) rate for another year, until 30 September 2027.

✅ The 7% VAT rate will continue to apply to:

• Sale of goods

• Provision of services

• Imports

💼 The extension aims to support economic stability, encourage domestic consumption, and contribute to Thailand's projected economic growth.

📅 With the current 7% VAT rate set to expire on 30 September 2026, this proposed extension provides greater certainty for businesses and consumers.
