Summary of Thailand's Revised Visa Measures
On 19 May 2026, the Cabinet approved new visa regulations:
Scheme Consolidation: Each country/territory is now limited to only 1 visa exemption scheme.
Policy Adjustments:
The 60-day visa exemption scheme (93 countries/territories) is cancelled.
The 30-day visa exemption scheme is reduced to 54 countries/territories.
A new 15-day visa exemption scheme is introduced for 3 countries/territories.
The Visa on Arrival (VoA) scheme is reduced to 4 countries/territories.
Implementation: These changes will take effect 15 days after being published in the Royal Gazette. Current travelers may stay until their permitted period expires; thereafter, entry will be governed by the new schemes, bilateral agreements, or e-Visa applications.

มาตรการตรวจลงตราไทย
เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 คณะรัฐมนตรีได้อนุมัติปรับปรุงมาตรการตรวจลงตราใหม่ ดังนี้:
การปรับรูปแบบ: กำหนดให้ 1 ประเทศ/ดินแดน ได้รับสิทธิยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราเพียง 1 รูปแบบเท่านั้น
รายละเอียดการปรับเปลี่ยน:
ยกเลิกสิทธิยกเว้นการตรวจลงตรา 60 วัน (จากเดิม 93 ประเทศ/ดินแดน)
ปรับลดกลุ่ม ผ.30 เหลือ 54 ประเทศ/ดินแดน
จัดทำกลุ่ม ผ.15 ใหม่สำหรับ 3 ประเทศ/ดินแดน
ปรับลดกลุ่ม VoA เหลือ 4 ประเทศ/ดินแดน
การบังคับใช้: มาตรการจะมีผลบังคับใช้ 15 วันหลังประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ชาวต่างชาติที่อยู่ในไทยหรือเดินทางมาก่อนมาตรการใหม่มีผล ยังคงสิทธิตามระยะเวลาเดิม และเมื่อมาตรการใหม่มีผล ให้ใช้สิทธิตามประกาศใหม่ ความตกลงทวิภาคี หรือยื่นขอ e-Visa ตามวัตถุประสงค์การเดินทาง
