Thai passport holders can visit 35 countries and territories visa-free in 2026, here's the full list
Thailand's Department of Consular Affairs has released its updated 2026 list of 35 countries and territories that Thai ordinary passport holders can enter visa-free. Allowed stays range from 14 to 365 days. Two entries are temporary measures, and travellers should always check the latest conditions before flying.
Here is the full breakdown by how long you can stay.
Up to 365 days
Georgia
Up to 90 days
Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru, South Korea
Up to 60 days
Cambodia, Samoa
Up to 30 days
China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Russia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Turkey, Vietnam
Up to 15 days
Japan (temporary measure, 1 July 2025 to 1 August 2026)
Up to 14 days
Brunei, Myanmar (international airports only), Oman, Taiwan (temporary measure, 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026)
A couple of things to keep in mind. Entry is always at the discretion of the destination country, and rules can change, so it is worth confirming with the relevant embassy or Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you travel. The Japan and Taiwan visa-free windows in particular are temporary and set to expire in 2026.
