Panuwat was invited to deliver a lecture as part of the Director’s Guide to Legal Obligations and Duties Program (DLD 6/2025), organised by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (Thai IOD).

On November 19, 2025, Panuwat Chalongkuamdee, our founding partner was invited to deliver a lecture as part of the Director’s Guide to Legal Obligations and Duties Program (DLD 6/2025) at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin.

As part of the program, Panuwat shared his insights on two key topics: “Liabilities and Ways to Mitigate Liabilities” and “Key Matters Requiring Directors to Exercise Due Care and Act in Good Faith.”

Organised by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (Thai IOD), the Director’s Guide to Legal Obligations and Duties (DLD) is an exceptionally insightful program that is highly relevant for today's corporate environment, particularly for executives, board members, and business owners. The program covers various topics, including the duties of directors and executives, laws and regulations relating to directors and executives, and liabilities and ways to mitigate such liabilities, with practical examples and case studies. Participants can apply the knowledge gained from the program to help ensure that their businesses thrive while minimising legal risks.

Celebrating a Memorable Journey: SRPP Summer Internship Program 2026 Comes to a Close.

SRPP officially concluded its Summer Internship Program 2026 with a farewell gathering held on July 31, 2026, celebrating the interns' dedication, growth, and achievements throughout the program.

The evening provided an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the experiences shared over the past two months. Through hands-on exposure to legal practice, mentorship from our lawyers, and meaningful collaboration with the team, the interns gained valuable professional insights while creating lasting friendships and memories.

On November 21, 2025, SRPP had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from DFDL Vietnam for a firm visit.

SRPP was delighted to engage in a fruitful and insightful discussion with Hanh Tran, Partner and Managing Director, and My Anh, Business Development Manager, of DFDL Vietnam. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to introduce our respective firms, exchange perspectives on the legal market in Thailand and Vietnam, discuss recent developments across the region, and explore opportunities for cross-border collaboration to better support clients with their legal and business needs.

SRPP Shares Business Law Expertise with Kasetsart University Students for the Third Consecutive Year.

SRPP is proud to celebrate another milestone in its pro bono journey. SRPP was once again honored to serve as guest lecturers at Kasetsart University, continuing this rewarding collaboration for the third consecutive year.

Building on the success of last year’s session, the SRPP team returned with great enthusiasm to engage a new cohort of bright and inquisitive students. SRPP truly enjoyed exchanging ideas, sharing practical insights, and empowering students with real-world legal knowledge.

This year’s session focused on the legal framework governing domestic and international agro-industrial businesses, with a strong emphasis on ethics, accountability, and sustainable decision-making. Panuwat delivered a special lecture on "Top Five Corporate Governance Issues for Future Corporate Lawyers" at Chulalongkorn University.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Panuwat Chalongkuamdee, our founding partner, was invited to speak to students in the LL.B. (Business and Tech Law) International Program at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University. His lecture - now part of the program’s ongoing effort to prepare the next generation of legal professionals - highlights his commitment to advancing legal education and shaping future corporate lawyers.

The session covered five essential corporate governance issues that every aspiring lawyer should understand: Legal Risk, Shares and Shareholders, Agency and Authority, Roles and Duties of Directors and Executives, and Liabilities of Directors and Executives. Using practical examples, Supreme Court case analyses, and insights drawn from decades of advisory experience, Panuwat guided students through the complexities of modern governance frameworks.

The lecture also sparked thoughtful discussions on how legal risks arise, how corporate authority is delegated in real-world transactions, and why fiduciary duties form the foundation of responsible corporate leadership. Students noted that his real-world examples helped bridge the gap between academic theory and practical legal work.

Panuwat Delivered an Executive Briefing to BCP’s Board of Directors on Updates to the Material Transaction and Related Party Transaction Criteria

On June 18, 2026, Panuwat Chalongkuamdee, our Founding Partner and a leading legal specialist, was invited to serve as a speaker for a briefing session on “Updates to the Material Transaction (MT) and Connected Transaction (RPT) Criteria,” organized by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (Thai IOD) for the Board of Directors and senior management of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (BCP), together with executives from its group companies, BCPG Public Company Limited (BCPG) and BBGI Public Company Limited (BBGI).

The session provided directors and executives with a summary of the key updates to the MT and RPT regulations, along with the practical implications directors need to be aware of in exercising their fiduciary duty and oversight responsibilities, so that the Board could apply this knowledge to ensure the company's transactions are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
