The supremacy of the law!
The application of the right law and procedure as applied by fair-minded judicial officers, is very fundamental to the extent that it creates and builds trust on public institutions responsible for delivering justice and protection of human dignity. Once this fails, it thus erodes public confidence in such institutions. The rule of law should remain supreme!
