The Vintgar Gorge

The Vintgar Gorge is a 1600 m long and up to 250 m deep gorge on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park, 4 km northwest of the center of Bled. If you want to see paradise with your own eyes, then you really need to visit the Vintgar Gorge. The indescribable beauty of nature seems to take you to another plane of this world. Unforgettable pleasure from what you see is guaranteed!

Postojna Cave

Here the beauty of the underworld and the greatness of the forces of nature are revealed. Postojna Cave is the only karst cave with a cave railway, which was built more than 140 years ago. Here you can take an unforgettable trip on the underground train and dive into the fascinating underground world formed by tiny drops over millions of years, and you can also see human fish. And it's not a joke.

Piran

And if you want to go for an easy walk accompanied by the sea breeze, then the city of Piran is just what you need. Neat streets, Venetian architecture in the Gothic style fit perfectly into this beautiful city. You can enjoy excellent coffee or local cuisine in local restaurants right on the seashore. An amazing combination!

Employment of the foreign specialist in Slovenian company 👨‍💼

Many professionals from non-EU countries come to Slovenia to work. However, the procedure of employment for foreigners from non-EU counties is not easy.If you are a non-EU citizen and want to work in Slovenia, you need to obtain a permit for work. It can be done only if you already have a potential employer.

You need to provide all the documents that confirm your education and skills. In addition, you can be employed only if there is no suitable candidate for your position from the pool of unemployed persons. The Institute for employment checks the list of unemployed people in Slovenia who can potentially be suitable for the job position. If there are no suitable candidates, the Institute for employment issues the confirmation letter that you would need for the first RP application.

Since Roman times and up until construction of the railway in the mid-19th century, the Ljubljanica river has been a major trade and supply route. It's 41 km long and it has become a popular attraction in Europe for treasure hunters. It is believed that the river has offered up between 10,000 and 13,000 objects, of which many have been lost to the public. Many pieces have been sold into private collections, or are hidden away by the original treasure hunters. In 2003, to help curb this trend, Slovenia's national parliament declared the river a site of cultural importance and banned diving in it without a permit 🌊
