We enjoyed a moment of jubilation when the Chief Justice mentioned our case [2023] SGHC 117 in his opening keynote address at the 2024 Litigation Conference on 3 April 2024. He was speaking on the increasing complexities of cases before the courts. Of the many thousands of cases, he chose to mention a few, including ours.

Chief Justice referenced the technicalities that the Court had to consider. He said, "The court examined speed and location data from Strava (a fitness application used to track physical exercise), as well as various facets of a complex accident reconstruction dealing with such concepts as perception reaction time and point of hazard perception." [12b]

Kudos to the team, Justice S. Mohan and the One who made all things happen!

We celebrate Mr. Doney's vindication!

His family lost a husband, father, and much more on 14 November 2019 when Mr. Doney died as a result of a 24-foot truck colliding with the bicycle he was riding.

For his monstrous driving, the High Court found the truck driver 100% negligent in May 2023. The Straits Times covered the case on 23 November 2023 ("Best Law Firms" section).

The truck driver's insurers appealed the decision as they want Mr Doney to bear 30% of the blame for the fatal accident. By God's grace, on 6 February 2024, the Appeal Court of 3 Judges upheld the 100% negligence ruling.

We are extremely grateful to God for this victory. This victory is dedicated to Mr. Doney, whose memory we honor. May this win represent a vindication of the wrong done to a safe cyclist. Photo credit: Mrs. Doney (Mr. Doney with one of his 3 children)

Immensely grateful and blessed to have crossed paths with these wonderful people. Dr Ann-Marie and Marcello are happy clients who celebrated their successful claim with us with a personalised treat. We leisurely feasted on pizzas and mouth-watering desserts specially curated by 3 Michelin-starred chef in Fiamma. The restaurant perched on a hill surrounded by lush greenery and quiet bliss made us forget that we were in Singapore. Thank you Dr Ann-Marie and Marcello!

Cheap & Good divorce packages? Think again. Low-cost divorce packages often appear attractive for the financially constrained. However, low-priced legal packages often come with a catch – limited advice and assistance.
These packages often employ standard templates for your divorce, failing to fully address your unique needs. Non-lawyers or paralegals usually handle your case. Practical considerations, such as Housing Development Board (HDB) or Central Provident Fund (CPF) regulations impacting property division, may go unaddressed.
The adage "you get what you pay for" is particularly true in legal service. Cutting costs on legal representation is a risky gamble. 9 out 10 times, you will end up spending more money to correct the damage done by low-quality legal representation.
