Characterist LLC has recently had the opportunity to render our services to a client, a construction company director, who had pleaded guilty to offences under Section 12(1) of the Act. In making our legal submissions on sentencing, we broached new grounds in being one of the first law firms in addressing the Court in relation to applying the Manta sentencing framework, for an accused person being an officer of a body corporate.
