Tomorrow, 50 European companies pitch their AI solutions in Brussels.
One of them is us.

For most brands, compliance is still the part of selling into Europe that slows everything down.

Weeks of paperwork, chasing documents, hoping nothing has changed since the last rule update.

Removing that friction is what we do every day for the 300+ brands we look after.

Tomorrow we take it further.

24hour-AR has been selected for the first stage of the AI-on-Demand Open Call, part of the EU's DeployAI programme.

Obay Mardini will pitch our AI solution for market-access compliance live at the AI-on-Demand Open Call Pitch Event.

Here is what is at stake:
▪️ 50 European SMEs, one specialist jury, one day in Brussels.
▪️ The solutions selected can join the AI-on-Demand Platform, the EU's public gateway for trusted AI.
▪️ For us, it is a step toward the promise we started with.

You sell your products in the EU, and compliance is handled.

We enjoy compliance, so you don't have to.
Tomorrow we get to show what that looks like with AI behind it.

If you are at the event, come and say hello.

And if you sell into the EU, tell us below: which part of compliance would you hand to an AI first?

The rules for EU authorised representatives change in 2026.
If yours is not ready, neither are your products.

New EU rules move real liability onto the representative.

Some will not want that responsibility.
A few may leave the market.

If that is your representative, you lose your route into the EU.

We built a free webinar with Gronkvist from Gate and Jonsson from 24hour-AR to explain what is changing and what to do.

Here is what you will take away:

→ What an EU AR actually does, and when you need one
→ What it should cost, and the documents you are responsible for
→ What the 2026 rule changes mean for your business

Everyone who signs up also gets the EU AR 2026 checklist with the questions to ask your current EU AR now.

You can join at one of three available times on Wednesday 23 September: 11:00, 16:00 or 21:00 CEST.

Sell a smart or connected product into the EU? A new deadline hits this Friday.
Miss the main one and a small seller faces the same fine risk as a giant.

From Friday 11 September 2026, there is a new rule for anyone selling a product that runs software or connects to the internet.
As smart doorbells, wifi security cameras, fitness trackers, baby monitors, connected sensors, or the app that controls them.

If a serious security flaw shows up in one of your products,
say a weakness that hackers are actively using,
you now have to report it to the EU's cyber authorities,
and quickly.

A lot of smaller sellers assume a rule like this goes easy on small brands.
It does, once, and only on the deadline that matters least.

Here is how the timing actually works.

The duty runs in three stages.
① An early warning within 24 hours,
② a full notification within 72 hours,
③ then a final report after.

Being small only saves you once.
Micro and small brands are let off the fine for missing the 24-hour warning.

On the 72-hour notification, a small seller faces the same fine risk as a big one.

The fines are serious.
Up to €15 million, or 2.5% of your worldwide yearly sales, whichever is higher.

Fines are not where it ends.
Keep failing to report and authorities can pull your product from the EU market, force a recall or block it from sale.

The good news is that the fix is not complicated, and it is far cheaper to sort now than in a panic later.

Two things:
- First, check whether these rules apply to your product.
- Then set up a clear way to report a problem fast to the EU's cyber authorities (national CSIRT and ENISA) before you ever need one.

There is a single EU system for it, so the job is really just knowing where your report goes and being ready in advance.

Staying ahead of changes like this is what we do for the brands we look after.

We enjoy compliance, so you don't have to.

Follow us if you would like to stay on top of changes like this one.

If a serious security flaw turned up in one of your products this week,
would you know exactly who to tell and how,
or is that still something you would have to work out on the day?

You cannot bolt CE marking on the month before launch.

Many teams treat CE marking as a final step.
Product first,
compliance later,
launch soon.

By then the design is fixed.
If it does not meet the rules, you redesign.

Here are four things you need to know:

1. Compliance starts at design, not launch. The technical file needs design detail from the start.

2. A late CE check can force a redesign. That is weeks lost, not a quick fix.

3. Compliance does not end at launch. You keep production in line as you sell.

4. Rules and standards change over time. Your documentation has to change with them.

Built in early, compliance protects your launch date.
We set it up early and keep it current.

Where are you starting compliance in your product process, at design or near launch?
What has that timing cost you so far?

The factory made it. Your logo is on it. The EU holds you responsible, not them.

You buy a product and sell it as your own. That single choice changes who the law blames.

Under EU rules, your name makes you the manufacturer.
The original maker steps out of the picture.

Here are four things you need to know:

1. Your brand makes you the legal manufacturer. Full responsibility for compliance moves to you.

2. Rebranding breaks the trail to the maker. Change the name and part number, lose the link.

3. You must hold the compliance file. Technical file and Declaration of Conformity, kept for ten years.

4. No documents means no sale. If an authority asks and you have none, sales stop.

We enjoy compliance so you don’t have to.
That’s why we published this free Declaration of Conformity template and full guide: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0y5RBc0

Do you sell a product under your own brand that someone else makes?

Most businesses assume their consumer products are safe.
They're right. Until they're not.

The GPSR came into force on 13 December 2024.
It applies to all consumer products placed on the EU market, whether or not they fall under CE marking legislation.
And it requires manufacturers to carry out an internal risk analysis before placing any product on the market.
Not after.
Before.

The problem is that most businesses skip this step.
Not deliberately.
They simply don't have a structured method to do it, so they don't know which risks exist, and they don't handle them.

A Swedish foldable chair recalled in 2024 cut off the tip of a child's finger.
The hazard was identifiable.
A structured risk assessment would have caught it.

Roberth Jonsson walks through exactly how to do this for your product in our on-demand webinar:
GPSR: Mastering Risk Assessments for Consumer Products.

You will leave knowing:
→ What the GPSR requires for your technical documentation.
→ The difference between risk analysis, risk evaluation and risk reduction, and when each applies.
→ How to use a structured template to identify and mitigate hazards for your specific product.
→ What a completed risk assessment looks like in practice, using a real recall case.

Watch it here: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0x-phS0

What is the compliance question about GPSR risk assessments you have not been able to get a clear answer on?

Your best-selling EU listing can be switched off overnight.
Not by a regulator. By Amazon.

If you sell into the EU on Amazon or Shopify,
this is your risk right now,
not a future one.

Most sellers expect enforcement to arrive as a slow official letter.
It does not.
The marketplace moves first.
If a listing is missing a named EU responsible person or the required safety details,
Amazon can pull it, and the sale stops that day.

And the pressure is climbing.
In 2025 the EU's Safety Gate logged a record 4,671 alerts on dangerous products, up 13%.
Follow-up actions, including withdrawals and listing removals, rose 35%.

Three things keep a listing live:
① 𝗔 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗨 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻. Someone inside the EU must be legally on record, or the product cannot be sold there.
② 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿. Your EU contact and compliance information must appear on the listing itself.
③ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲. The declaration and technical documentation must exist and stay current.

A good compliance partner takes the responsible person role for you,
keeps those details right on your listings,
and answers to the authorities if they ever ask. You keep selling.

We keep the paperwork in order.
We enjoy compliance so you don’t have to.

The images below break down all three.

If Amazon asked today whether your EU listings carry a named responsible person and the required safety details, could you say yes, or is it still on the list for later?
