Juba County Caretaker Commissioner Moulana Kalisto Lado is set to launch three infrastructure projects next week, including solar streetlights, road medians, railings and sidewalks, and electricity and lighting on Freedom Bridge.

According to the county’s announcement, the projects aim to improve road safety, public security and infrastructure, with implementation expected to make significant progress before the end of 2026.

Hon. Commissioner of Juba County, Moulana Kalisto Lado Foustino Nyigilo, addressed the chiefs and people from Lado payam who came and paid courtesy to his office and raised the looming issue of land grabbing in the payam ( Lado Payam ).

Hon. Commissioner, vows to tackle the issue in Lado payam which has been ignored years to years and he will start from next week though his period is limited. More are in the video below.

Hon. Moulana Kalisto Lado Foustino, the caretaker commissioner of Juba County stated that, he doesn’t want the selling of coffins in his territorial jurisdiction during his interview.

He therefore stated that, selling of coffins is against South Sudanese culture and customs, where he further said he won’t allow anything which is against the public order or the health of South Sudanese in his territorial jurisdiction of duties as below in the video.

Hon. Moulana Kalisto Lado Foustino, the able caretaker commissioner of Juba County, explained from where his territorial jurisdiction started to where it ended within Juba County, to differentiate from the one of Juba City Council Jurisdiction.
