The Russian National Championship of the Jessup Competition was started by White & Case LLC in 2002. Jessup Russia has quickly grown to become one of the world's largest national competitions, every year welcoming around 45 teams from all over Russia. Russian teams have made strong appearance at the International Rounds of Jessup - including the Runner-Up title in 2003 by Mari State University and
Moscow State University’s win of the Jessup Cup in 2012. Since 2011 Russian teams have been consistently advancing in DC and making it to the octo- and quarter-finals. Considering its size and scale, the Russian National Championship serves as the unique forum for both bilingual Russian law students and international legal professionals who come to Moscow from all over the world. In 2016 the Russian National Championship of the Jessup Competition celebrated its 15th anniversary
Since 2001, White & Case LLC has been the main sponsor of the Jessup Competition, with a team of lawyers and administrators organizing the Championship every year.
