RWA 2025 Recap
Russian Women in Arbitration (RWA) warmly wish you a peaceful, joyful and inspiring 2026! With the start of the new year, we would like to share the RWA 2025 Recap.
In 2025, we were proud to launch:
• Nikolskaya Consulting x RWA Vis Pre-Moot hosting practice rounds for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, featuring Russian teams from MGIMO, MSAL, MSU, HSE University (Moscow), HSE University (St. Petersburg), RANEPA, RGUP, and SPbU;
• Third cycle of the RWA Mentoring Programme allowing aspiring students and young practitioners to learn from Russian leading arbitration specialists;
• RWA x Ivanyan & Partners event under the auspices of RIAC 2025 – “Who Is Appointed by Russian Parties? Key Insights from the Market Survey”. During the event, RWA presented preliminary results of the RWA Survey on the appointment of arbitrators in disputes related to Russia;
• RWA Scholarship for Arbitration Rising Stars 2025. Together with Kucher Kuleshov Maximenko & Partners (KKMP) and Lansky, Ganzger, Goeth & Partner (LGP) law firms, RWA were able to support young female arbitration practitioners striving to continue education in the sphere of international arbitration abroad;
• RWA Get Together summer meetings in Moscow, Dubai, and Paris, allowing practitioners to connect and share insights on career development;
• RWA x WongPartnership event as part of Singapore Convention Week 2025 – “Culture and Perception in International Dispute Resolution: Exploring Mediation, Ad Hoc Arbitration, and Limits of Consent”;
• RWA event for the Participants of the RWA Scholarship for Arbitration Rising Stars and RWA Mentoring Programme organised with support of KKMP and LGP law firms.
