The fact is that the company does not want to leave the Russian market, as well as lose profits in large volumes.

Let's look at the development of the situation from the very beginning: in April 2022, the media, citing a source, wrote that Danone plans to stop using its own global brands in the Russian market, including Actimel, Activia, Alpro and Danone.

In October 2022, Danone announced object to transfer control over the production of dairy and plant products in Russia - subject to the possibility of a buyback and retaining up to 25 percent in the business and positions on the board of directors.
