The Supreme Court of Justice and Cassation of Romania published yesterday, in the Official Gazette no. 8/09.01.2017 the decision on the preliminary ruling on the possibility of an employer to communicate by e-mail, in a PDF format, a decision for terminating a labor contract, if the commonly used information is the email in PDF format. Further requirements imposed are given by art. 76 of the Labour Code (general requirements of a decision), and not those imposed by Law no. 455/2001 (regarding the format of the authorized signatures in the electronic documents).
