Together with Andreea Cotiga, Emma Toma, Mihaela Petruescu, Bogdan Bogatu, Razvan Nica and Radu Tar, Ioana explored how changing tenant expectations, investment priorities, sustainability and technology are reshaping the office market.
The conversation went beyond market figures to a bigger question: how do we create office spaces that continue to make sense for the people who use them and the investors who own them?

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Miguel de Cervantes Bilingual High School to our office as part of Joblandia, a programme organised by HR Club.
These visits are always a highlight for us. We love having the opportunity to share what life at Filip & Company looks like, what lawyers actually do beyond what we see in movies, and the people, teamwork and everyday challenges behind the profession.
Our colleague Roberto Cazacu took the students through all of this, sharing insights into our work and what it means to be a lawyer.
And while we hope they learned a few things from us, we certainly enjoyed their curiosity, questions and fresh perspectives.
We hope they left with a better understanding of the legal profession and perhaps a little inspiration for their own future paths.

Last night, at The Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards 2026, our team won ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ, ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ&๐€ ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐˜๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐„๐„, while our colleague Monica Statescu received the ๐“๐Œ๐“ ๐๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐†๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐„๐„ award.
These two awards place Filip & Company, an independent law firm in Romania, amongst the winners of a competition that recognises the work of firms and professionals across the Central and Eastern European region.

We are happy to have advised Inspire Asset Management, the investment company founded by Iulian Stanciu, on its investment in NIBIRU, one of the most exciting entertainment and leisure projects on the Romanian coastline.
From structuring the investment to supporting the investor's entry into the company's shareholding, this was a project our team truly enjoyed being part of.

These were just some of the questions discussed yesterday at Future Banking Summit, where our colleague Rebecca Georgiana Marina joined two panels exploring the future of banking.
From the growing role of AI agents in financial services to the challenges of balancing innovation with regulatory compliance, Rebecca shared a legal perspective on some of the changes reshaping the industry.
One point stood out: technology may change how banking services are delivered, but it doesn't take away the banks' responsibility towards their customers.
Rebecca also highlighted the importance of finding the right balance between speed and security, adapting financial services to customers' individual risk profiles, and making everyday banking simpler through better integration of public and banking databases.

We are pleased to have advised BRD - Groupe Societe Generale and Raiffeisen Bank Romania, acting as intermediaries, in the Municipality of Alba Iuliaโ€™s โ‚ฌ30 million municipal bond offering.
The offering attracted significant investor interest, with subscription orders exceeding โ‚ฌ77 million โ€“ more than 2.5 times the amount offered.
A great example of how capital markets can support local development and provide municipalities with access to financing.
